Despite the overwhelming evidence refuting the relevance of the Glycemic Index to the real world, a majority of fitness enthusiasts and bodybuilders still use it to determine which carb sources they choose to eat. In this video I lay out several arguments as to why this is a misguided approach. Feel free to join the NBB Facebook page at www.facebook.com

This video is about how I am going to cut out salt from my diet. It has been 4 weeks since Ive started the raw food diet. Ive lost 4 kilos8 pounds so far and have so much more energy … Cut out meat of my diet was NOT a problem. The salt cravings were a pain but I now replace salt to celery, tomatoes. I also add lemon and banana to my salad. It is delicious!!!
Do we really need to keep stressing over the GI in everyday life? NOOOOO! People tend to forget this was created back in the 1980s as a tool for diabetics and unfortunately found its way into the real world messing up the mind of healthy individuals and convincing them it is the worst thing in the world to focus on the glycemic index of foods. Glycemic Index = measures the effects of carbs and their ability to raise blood sugar levels Keywords Fasted Isolation Postprandial State Glycemic Load Insulin Response Satiety Index Stop concerning yourself with this Insulin "spike" It refers to the idea of a dramatic increase in blood sugar and insulin but in healthy individuals this "spike" is irrelevant because the body is very efficient at keeping blood sugar levels in a heathy range. www.bodyrecomposition.comwww.livestrong.comwww.alanaragon.com
