I want to take a moment to share part of my weekend. It was Jacobs 7th birthday celebration. His b-day is today 11-01 HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACOB! One of Jacobs birthday wishes was to have a Shockwave (one of the Decepticons from the Transformers cartoon and movie) cake. We always bake our own cakes to be sure the ingredients are organic. So this was a fun task (Shockwave is one of my favorites too). I will share my personalized cake making experience in a future post but here are some images to give you an idea. Continue reading »

Chiropractic treatment (Advanced Bio-structural Correction) offers holistic healing and can be considered preventative medicine. Holistic means treating the body as a whole and not as individual parts. The spinal cord (which is protected by the vertebrae), is responsible for connecting the brain to the rest of the body. The slightest resistance at any point in this line of communication can result in a variety of health complications. As a result of poor structure which includes misaligned vertebrae, the tissue that surrounds nerves becomes inflamed and hinders the communication from one nerve to the next. Advanced Bio-structural Correction (ABC) is a chiropractic treatment that properly addresses the mechanics of the skeletal structure. ABC also treats each individual patient’s specific structural condition. These practices allow ABC to produce consistent and predictable results.

Traditional chiropractic treatment is limited to thinking of the body as individual working parts as oppose to the body being one mechanical unit working together. When viewing a person from the side their ear, shoulder, hip, knee and ankle should form a strait line. The treatment offered by traditional chiropractic therapy may worsen the alignment of the spine. Structural misalignment vary from patient to patient.
